Weaknesses: Size (he's 5'3"). Limited range without ODM gear. Injuries accumulated by Season 4 significantly reduced his combat effectiveness.

Mikasa's Arsenal

Mikasa is the strongest Ackerman of her generation and arguably the most talented natural fighter in the series.

Combat style: Aggressive and devastating. Where Levi is surgical, Mikasa is explosive. She hits harder, moves with more force, and can overwhelm opponents with sheer physical output.

Weaknesses: Less experienced than Levi. Emotional attachment to Eren sometimes clouds her judgment mid-combat.

Head-to-Head

Speed

Levi wins. His Beast Titan blitz is the single fastest combat sequence in AOT. Zeke - who had fought other Survey Corps members and was prepared - couldn't even react. Mikasa is fast, but she's never shown Levi-tier speed against a comparable target.

Raw Strength

Mikasa wins. She generates more force per swing and has demonstrated greater physical strength in direct comparisons. Her Thunder Spear throws and blade attacks are visually more powerful than Levi's. The manga supports this - Mikasa's strength feats against Titan hardening exceed Levi's.

Technique / Skill

Levi wins decisively. Decades of combat in the Underground and Survey Corps give Levi an experience advantage that Mikasa can't match. His spinning slash technique, his ability to fight Kenny's gun-wielding squad in close quarters, and his tactical awareness during the Beast Titan fight showcase a fighter who has mastered every aspect of ODM combat.

Durability / Endurance

Mikasa edges it by virtue of youth and health. By the final season, Levi is severely injured - missing fingers, facial scarring, reduced mobility. Peak Levi vs Peak Mikasa on durability is closer, but Mikasa's youth gives her better recovery.

Combat IQ

Levi wins. His split-second decisions during the Beast Titan fight - choosing the exact moment to strike, conserving gas, targeting Zeke's nape with maximum efficiency - show a tactical mind that operates at a higher level than Mikasa's more instinct-driven approach.

The Creator's Take

Hajime Isayama (AOT's author) has stated that Levi is the strongest human in the series. This is supported by in-universe statements from Hange, Erwin, and even Kenny. However, some fans argue this refers to peak Levi, and that by the final season, Mikasa may have surpassed an injured Levi.

Verdict

Levi is stronger at their peaks. His speed, technique, and combat intelligence give him the edge in a direct fight. The Beast Titan solo is the single most impressive individual combat feat by any non-Titan character in AOT.

But Mikasa is closer than most fans think. Her raw strength exceeds Levi's, and she accomplished what no other character could - killing Eren's Founding Titan form. In the final battle, she was arguably the most impactful fighter on the field.
