Acnologia, known as the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse, is the most powerful being in the Fairy Tail universe. Originally a human Dragon Slayer from 400 years ago, he bathed in so much dragon blood that he transformed into a dragon himself. He single-handedly ended the Dragon Civil War by slaughtering both sides and became feared by dragons and humans alike. His power is so immense that even Zeref, the most powerful mage in history, feared him. He seeks to destroy all Dragon Slayers and establish himself as the Dragon King.
