ABOUT IRENE BELSERION
Irene Belserion is the strongest female member of the Spriggan 12, the elite guard of Emperor Spriggan (Zeref). Known as the Scarlet Despair, she is the inventor of Dragon Slayer Magic and Erza Scarlet's biological mother. Over 400 years old, Irene was once a human queen who created Dragon Slayer Magic to fight in the Dragon Civil War but gradually transformed into a dragon herself. She mastered Enchantment Magic at a level no other mage can match, able to reshape geography and imbue objects or people with magical properties.
