Teruki Hanazawa is a second-year student at Black Vinegar Middle School and a powerful esper. Initially arrogant and believing psychic powers made him special, he used his abilities to dominate his school. After being utterly defeated by Mob's overwhelming power, Teru underwent a dramatic change in personality, becoming a loyal ally. He is highly versatile in his psychic abilities, using telekinesis, barriers, and energy blasts creatively in combat.
